An overview of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and its systematic evaluation of environmental and resource impacts throughout the entire lifecycle of a product/system, based on ISO standards. LCA is used to develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) and assesses all stages from extraction to recycling, including energy consumption, water usage, and emissions.
